It is important that before you get out and start the lawn care for the season, we need you to get your mower blade sharpened. I have read many lawn care blogs and very few of them mention this even though it is so very very important. If your mower blade is not sharp, then you will be ripping the grass instead of cutting it cleanly. Ripped grass will dry out and turn brown on the tips, making the lawn look bad overall. This is not a good situation.
If you can get your mower blade sharpened before the year starts, I really think that you will get better overall results for this lawn care season.
